Raja Talkies A/C DTS Sony 4K is a historic and modernized cinema located at No. 246, Anna Salai (Nehru Street Cutting), Pondicherry 605001, India. Established in 1968 by Shri T.M. Kannaya Chettiar and inaugurated by the legendary actor Chevalier Shri Sivaji Ganesan, it has been a cornerstone of Pondicherry's cinematic culture. The theatre has undergone significant renovations, most notably in 2004 and 2017, to enhance the movie-going experience. It now boasts a seating capacity of 1,020 with 26-inch pushback seats across three classes, ensuring comfort for all patrons. Technological upgrades include Sony 4K projection with RealD 3D, 7.1 Dolby Digital sound, and a silver screen presentation, making it the first in Pondicherry to offer such advanced features.
